Q: How much does a private consultation cost?

A:  A consultation from R700.00

Q: Do you dispense medication?

A:  No, we will give you a prescription to buy the medication at a pharmacy of your choice

Q: Are you contracted with the different medical aids?

A:  No, we are not contracted with any medical aid

Q: Do you submit consultation claims to the medical aid?

A:  We submit consultation claims after your consultation with the doctor and gets a response immediately. With every medical aid there is a levy payable. Patients are liable for the short fall that the medical aids do not pay.

Q: Do you have after-hour services available?

A:  Yes, we do

Q: Are you available for home/house visits?

A:  House/home visits is available on the severity of the case and availability of the doctor.

Q: What do I do in an emergency?

A:  Contact one of the emergency numbers below.

Q: Do you apply for chronic medicine to the medical aids?

A:  Chronic medicine applications can only be done if you are a patient of the practice. If you are, then we can apply on your behalf.

Q: Can I get a repeat prescription without a consultation with the doctor?

A:  Only if the doctor has seen you for the condition and you are being treated for it. Follow up blood tests must be done once a year.

Q: Do you have radiology services?

A:  No, we unfortunately do not have the facilities to do any radiology services. We can however refer you to the best radiologists.
